Design Sensei, Inc. (“Design Sensei,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit designsensei.io or request an invitation to the Design Sensei network (collectively, the “Site”).
Information we collect
When you request an invitation, we may collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your company name, if provided
- Your LinkedIn profile URL, if provided
- Whether you are applying as a startup team or a design advisor
- Information you choose to share about a product decision, advisory interests, or experience
- If you choose to receive marketing communications, your communication preference and a record of when and how you gave us that permission
- Any other information you provide when contacting us
We may also automatically collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and understand use of the Site, such as browser, device, and log information.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Review and respond to your private-beta invitation request, assess whether Design Sensei may be a fit for you, and manage private-beta access
- With your consent, send occasional marketing communications, including a future newsletter, design-advisory insights, events, opportunities, and product updates
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Site, store data, send email, prevent fraud, or analyze Site usage. These providers may access information only as needed to perform services for us.
We may also share information when required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Design Sensei or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

You can choose whether to receive marketing communications from Design Sensei. If you opt in, you may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us at hello@designsensei.io.
We may still contact you about your private-beta invitation request and related service matters, even if you do not opt in to marketing communications.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@designsensei.io. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date.
